About Therapy

Everything is heavy all at once.

It’s like you’re drowning in a muddy pool, nauseated and relentless.

No matter what you do, you’re sinking deeper.

All the while, others around you seem to be moving effortlessly through life.

What the hell?

Sharing a space with me is like being in a bubble.

It’s like a warm, strong hug.

Calm and relaxing, safe and nonjudgmental.

Soft lights, good smells, lots of nature.

We can sit across from each other, or walk a path side by side – whatever helps you learn about yourself and develop a better understanding of who you are and where you are meant to go.

We all have different life journeys.

Comparisons and judgements about yourself bring up feelings of “less than,” and you know it’s not helpful, but the mud is deep, and changing your situation may seem unlikely.

Therapy is like growing a garden. Seeds are planted, weeds are pulled, and along the way beauty emerges from the earth, from your soul, thriving in the sunlight that is you.

We may go on some side quests (planned and unplanned), but no one said healing was linear.

Humans are messy and resistant to change, as fear is the mud that keeps us from the things we want.

Your lotus will emerge from the mud.

You will feel empowered to take a breath, look around, and choose which path you want to take…

  • Healing, processing, seeing life beyond your experiences (not to be bound by the past).
  • Shifting how you speak to yourself to be less critical and more supportive.
  • Setting better boundaries.
  • Practicing more self-compassion.
  • Identifying ways to move forward with the relationship of those you’ve lost (including our companion animals).
  • Reaching personal goals.
  • Less activation of old wounds.

Therapy works if the work is done.

This is an investment in yourself, and you’re worth it.

I am your guide. We’ll walk together, sit, cry, and laugh together.

Together, we navigate the challenges and celebrate the victories. We’ll gently explore new parts of your inner world, cultivating the life and growth that have always been possible for you.

What I bring to your garden are tools, seeds, and curiosity, mixed with some knowledge.

Unless you’re ready to shift, it will not happen.

You will learn to tend your garden.

We live in a culture that bullies those of us who are sensitive and caring, those of us who are different.

Many of us don’t feel welcome in our own country. This is why my space is important, now more than ever.

We will find strength, resilience, and empowerment to connect and create the communities we need.

It’s time to tend to what’s been waiting.

Growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when you choose to care for what’s ready to take root.

The parts of you that have been overlooked, overworked, or silenced deserve attention and intention.

With the right support, what once felt stuck can begin to soften, strengthen, and grow.

Schedule your free consultation today and take the first step toward cultivating the life that’s meant for you.

Outside the office…

I love plants (though sometimes they do not love me), music, and books/poetry. I also paint on occasion, usually a wall or a random piece of furniture.

At home, I have three dogs, two cats, and will occasionally play WOW with my partner (though I’m not very good at it). We watch Star Trek and Star Wars (I cannot choose a side.) and a lot of anime.

You're ready to grow your roots.

To feel grounded in who you are and how you move through the world.

You are ready to rise and meet the sun — not by becoming someone new, but by fully stepping into yourself.

Let's take the next step together so you can untangle what's been holding you back and build a life that feels aligned and sustainable.

Deepen, strengthen, expand.
